With the first quarter of 2024 behind us, Sensor Tower provides a glance into the iOS realm of virtual fitness in France. Here's how the top applications fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking at around 25K in mid-March. Weekly active users presented an upward trajectory, hitting a high of over 529K in the same period. Revenue for Strava also increased, with notable growth, reaching upwards of $88K towards the end of March.

For Basic-Fit, while revenue data was not available, downloads showed a decreasing trend from the start of the quarter, starting at around 24K and dipping to approximately 12K by the end. Weekly active users experienced a slight decline, maintaining numbers around 393K in January and falling to about 358K by the quarter's end.

Decathlon Coach: Sport/Running, a homegrown French app, demonstrated a downward slope in downloads, with an initial figure of nearly 20K dropping to around 7.5K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the mid-40Ks throughout the quarter.

WeWard - The Walking App, another French publisher, maintained a steady base of active users, with over 2M in January and a slight decrease to just over 2M by March. Downloads showed a varied trend, with peaks and troughs, but ended the quarter with around 11.5K.

Lastly, LazyFit: Home Workout Planner experienced a decline in downloads, starting from 26K and ending at 4.5K. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, with a slight dip from approximately 27K to 23K. Revenue for LazyFit showed an initial spike but then followed a downward trend, concluding the quarter with about $6.6K.
